BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Shortland Street's Faye Smythe (Tania Jeffries), Sally Martin (Nicole Miller), Kimberley Crossman (Sophie McKay) and Frankie Adams (Ula Levi) hit the catwalk when they modelled for Phoenix Cosmetics.

Almost irrecognisable, transformed with feathers, gems and body paint, Martin says it was an experience she'll never forget.

"It was just amazing to be amongst the backstage buzz, watching all of the girls be completely transformed", says Martin. "The coloured gems, the Swarovski crystals, the feathers and body paint they were everywhere, it was mad!"
"Each girl had her own plastic pocket with Phoenix's individual makeup plans, and any embellishments that were part of it", continues Martin. "I loved how every girl had a very specific and very different look. I was so amped to be a part of it all, it was quite magical!"
